We recently spent 3 days in snowy Glasgow attending the National Stroke forum. We were there with a team from ‘Ectron’: a local Bristol company that are striving to be at the forefront of distributing rehabilitation technology.
We spent a busy 3 days demonstrating some of the exciting technologies that are becoming avaliable to people with neurological problems such as stroke. We have a special interest in arm rehabilitation and we were able to gain a lot of interest in the ‘Amadeo’ a robotic hand rehabilitation device and the ‘Pablo’, a motion sensor device that is a bit like the Wii. Both therapists and people with stroke found the devices of great interest.
We are fortunate enough to have a close working relationship with Ectron and are pleased to be able to offer individuals the opportunity to have a trial with this exciting equipment at the Nuffield hospital in Bristol. For more information please get in touch.
