Juliet is a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist with extensive experience working with children in both the UK and Canada.

She graduated from The Middlesex School of Physiotherapy in London in 1988 and  worked in London before moving to Vancouver to work in The British Columbia Children’s Hospital.  Here she worked in The Special Care Baby Unit and Intensive Care as well as the wards.

On returning to UK she worked in a Community-setting in Plymouth and Cornwall, during which time she completed the Bobath Paediatric Course.

After moving to Bristol she returned to working in the Community implementing her extensive skills and knowledge of the Bobath concept with the children she treated.  During this time she gained experience working with families, doctors,  other Paediatric Specialists, teachers and SENCOs within both mainstream schools and Special Needs Schools. 

She has a keen interest in working with children with gait abnormalities and Developmental Delay.

Juliet has a holistic approach to the children and families she works with.

She has three teenage children who keep her busy and loves skiing, cooking and yoga in her spare time.

I would just like to let everyone know how happy I am since starting treatment at Bristol Neurophysio.  I have noticed a great beneficial change to my condition, ataxia.  It's been such a relief for me to find someone who understands my condition and is able to set up a programme suitable for my abilities.  Kirsty is always upbeat and cheerful and is always a great help.  I come away from my sessions feeling so much better and able to get on with my life!
